Leading the way

At this point most of the scripting elements needed for the game are in place, tested on small purpose built levels, the trick is to integrate them into one level. The problem is that without a map layout to work from the map and subsequently the scripting can't be implemented. The floor plan Greg sent on Friday should be more than enough for our purposes. So Andrew and I will bring up the issue in tomorrows meeting, and propose the floor plan as the one to use for the game.

Today I was looking at getting a non player character (NPC) lead the player to a place, and if the player trails behind the NPC the NPC comes back and "collects" the player. I also looked at scripting a "wake up scene" a scene where the screen fades from black into the room. The player then stands up, after that the user can control the player.
